It is the time to form a new parish council. We are seeking nominations for the new Council. If you think you would make a good member of the Council, please consider nominating yourself or someone else.
According to the norms in our Eparchy, the main role of the Pastoral Council is to cooperate with the pastor om all aspects of the pastoral life of the mission. It is to advise the pastor on pastoral matters. The Pastoral Council should be no less than 7 members not including the Pastor.
All members of the Pastoral Council must maintain the confidentiality of the deliberations of the council.
The members will serve for 2 years term and must be committed to bi-monthly meetings and possess a willingness to assist with some of the various activities of our parish.
Eligible nominees for the parish council must meet the following criteria:
- Baptized and at least 18 years of age
- Registered and active member of the parish worship, especially Sunday Liturgy
- Willingness to express own idea and to listen to differing viewpoints
- Displays a readiness to serve and learn
- Exhibits compassion and maturity of judgment
- Ability to complete tasks
- Help solicit volunteers in the parish to support events and activities as needed.

Elections if needed will be held on Sunday February 10, 2019 .
Results will be announced and published on Sunday February 17, 2019
